Following the closing of signups to the Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity (HHCC) National Three Peaks challenge,  we are honoured to share what this year’s participants are fundraising for!

Each participant is being supported in reaching their £1,500.00 fundraising target with a dedicated Virtual Donation Page, hints, tips and training guidance. HHCC are delighted to showcase the funds from this event are supporting designated causes across HDFT such as;

    • Creating more wellbeing initiatives for staff
    • Support packs for families affected by end of life care
    • Enhancing the environment for patients receiving treatment
    • Emergency Infant Formula milk during crisis across the 0-19 community footprint
    • Hygiene packs for children and young people living in poverty
    • Tactile objects such as stress balls, supporting children and young people to remember what they have learned from health promotion in relation to emotional health
    • Specialist Tablets to support capturing the voice and lived experience of children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)
    • An additional enhanced space in the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) for parents and families enabling them to remain with their baby throughout their admission.
