Bus operator Transdev have been selling specially designed ‘All the colours of Transdev’ face coverings, featuring all the colours of its services across the North, in order to raise money for NHS Charities. So far, they have raised over £2,400, with even more to come.

Transdev began offering its designer face coverings online and at its bus stations on Monday 15 June, the day Government instructions to wear face coverings when using public transport were introduced.

The colourful coverings quickly proved a big hit with customers in Yorkshire and Lancashire – so much so that extra supplies had to be ordered to keep pace with rapidly rising demand.

Transdev CEO Alex Hornby has now presented a cheque for an amazing £2,475 – the first wave of proceeds from sales of the washable and reusable face coverings – to our Community and Events Fundraiser Georgia Hudson. We are so grateful for your donation!
