Support Dave as he takes on the Leeds Marathon on 11 May 2025 raising vital funds for the Active Against Cancer Services (AAC), as part of Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity (HHCC).
AAC helps to support patients with the physical and mental battle that comes with a cancer diagnosis. It puts exercise at the core of cancer care through free specialised exercise programmes. In addition to the exercise sessions there is the opportunity to meet with others in a similar position which helps realisation that people are not alone on their cancer journey.
The AAC Service is one close to Dave’s and his wife’s heart due to his wife recently being diagnosed with Cancer. Dave has quoted “She loves what you are doing and wants the valuable service you provide to thrive. This is my motivation alongside knowing the service has already helped fellow members of Wetherby Runners”
Dave is part of the Wetherby Runners A.C. group who have also kindly chosen AAC as their Charity Partner for 2025.
