Support Claire, Emma and Emily from the Cumberland 0-19 Healthy Child Programme Public Health Nursing Service at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) take on the Gelt Gladiator in June 2025 for the Great Start in Life Foundation!
Claire has said “Before transferring over to HDFT in April this year, we were the strengthening families team, over the years we organised events that enabled us to provide Christmas presents to over 200 children.
This year we are taking on a bigger challenge and are doing GELT GLADIATOR which is a 6km obstacle course, jumping over fire, climbing under and over cargo nets, river crossings, climbing through trenches and finishing with a 100m slip and slide.
This year we are wanting to support the Great Start in Life Foundation. Doing this will enable us to reach local communities and support children and families receiving care provided by HDFT on a wider scale. 💪”
