HHCC was first established as the registered Charity for Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) on 16 October 1995. Our purpose over the past 30 years has been to enhance the quality of healthcare services and support staff wellbeing, beyond normal NHS funding.
To celebrate this incredible milestone, we are excited to be holding a number of events and initiatives throughout the year to celebrate the last 30 years of making a difference. Your donations for our 30th Birthday will fund the introduction of AI Cancer algorithm software to aide quicker and more effective cancer diagnosis. This will help us:
- Reduce testing costs
- Reduce Pathologist reviewing time by over 65%
- Reduce waiting time for a cancer diagnosis by up to 6 days!
